Restoring jobs and acoustic setup on fine violins, violas and cellos are carried out in the workshop with great professionalism.
Should there be the need to sell, buy or evaluate one’s old Italian fine instrument, we offer direct trading or sale on account of the owner with insurance coverage. Along with fine Italian violins, violas and cellos for musicians and advanced students, a wide range of beginner and intermediate instruments can be found in the shop to the satisfaction of all needs.
Acoustic set up

There are many different processes when setting up a violin, viola or cello. All these processes combined make a huge difference to how the instruments sound, play and feel. The sound post position, the shape of bridge, up to the choice of accessories and strings, are very important for the best performance of your instrument.

Bow rehair and repair
The top quality of Mongolia, Siberia, Manchuria, Sorrel Brown and Black horsehair are carefully selected in our workshop for rehairing violin, viola and cello bows, to best satisfy the needs of our customers.
​
Minor repairs like the replacement of lapping, leather or tip can be required at the time of the new rehairing.

Along with fine Italian violins, violas and cellos for musicians and advanced students, a wide range of beginner and intermediate instruments and bows can be found in the shop, to the satisfaction of all needs.

Being well aware as we are of the difficulties that young musicians can come across and have to face during their first experiences and those that follow, we offer a vast range of small size instruments for rental.
​
The Serie Studio violins instead, are made with the collaboration of young and skilled makers graduated from the Violin Making Schools of Milan, under my personal supervision and their availability is limited.

Antique instruments
​
As an alternative to the new violins for intermediate or advanced students, we offer old instruments from French and German manufacturers or minor violin makers of 19th century.
​
We regularly select violins in excellent conditions, taking care of their restoration and setting them for the best acoustic performance.

On request, it is possible to view and try antique and fine Italian instruments. For more information about their availability, please don't esitate to contact us, by specifying in details all your needs.
